I am happy to announce that La Belle Bloom bouquets will be sold at a few other locations for Mother's Day! Caxao Chocolates will be a one stop shop with their delicious chocolates and treats and now flowers, so put down that Hershey's Bar and get your mom some real chocolate for Mom Day! I would like to share with all of you a wonderful experience that confirms my love of local and independent businesses: last week when we were in Petaluma, we discovered a wonderful local store, B Street Mercantile. As we entered this gorgeous place, one of the owners greeted us and offered us a cupcake to celebrate their one-year anniversary. The kids were stoked! She then asked if we wanted to enter our name for a free raffle to possibly win one of 3 gift baskets. I jokingly said "Sure, and if we win, can you ship it to SD?!" Our host said "why not!". We browsed and shopped and I left my name and phone number for the raffle. On Monday, I received a sweet phone call telling me I had won one of these baskets! And could I provide my address in order to ship it!!! I was so excited. And tonight, the package arrived, beautifully wrapped and full of original and creative DIY art projects. Lucia already has her hands on them!
B Street Mercantile, you can be sure we will be back next time we are up north. And friends and family, if you are in Petaluma, stop by and check out Patti and Jenny's store. It is well worth your time. Thank you so much.
