Love to see how clients reflect on their week. See the correlation between the focus and the result?

7 hours working ON the business.
Motivation at 98.5%.
Leadership at 9.8.
= Business is... Crankin'!

Crankin' is not a coincidence, it's the logical result of this client's focus.

(That's why I call this a "focus sheet" btw.)

Strong weeks don't happen by accident. He decided what mattered, protected the time for it, and did the work. The results are the receipt.

If you need to dedicate the time and focus to build a "crankin" business, join us for GrowthCLUB next week:

A lot of people ask me for help with time management, but when I dig in, I often find that they are trying to solve the wrong problem.

They want to know how to handle more questions/issues coming their way, but the real question is: why are those coming up in the first place?

No amount of time managment tips can compensate for sloppy processes, an under-equipped team, or simply doing too much.

I hate to break it do you, but you cannot make more time.

What you CAN do is ask yourself "what is the system-solution here?" - not just the immediate fix.

In other words, don't stop at solving today's problem. Prioritize the systems and training to prevent it from coming to you in the future.

That's how you get your time back.

What you get is never the point. Who you become is far more valuable.

That's the whole idea behind GrowthCLUB.

We work through the "Be x Do = Have" formula for success:

🏆 HAVE: what does success actually look like in 5 years, 1 year, and 90 days?
🧠 BE: what kind of leader does your business need you to become?
✍️ DO: what specific actions get you there?

It's a few focused hours on June 19th (virtual) or 26th (San Diego).

Early bird pricing is live.

In this market (or really, any market) businesses need to be prudent with cash.

And when things get tight, the instinct is to make cuts.

Cut the marketing, cut the training, cut the hire you keep putting off...

Some cuts may be warranted, but you can't cut your way to growth.

Smart business owners recognize the difference in an expense and an investment... and some investments are simply non-negotiable, because treating them like an expense only leads to further decline.

Being prudent with your money is smart. Making cuts out of fear is not.

So before you slash the 2026 budget, ask one question about every line:
Is this money leaving, or is this money going to help us make more money?

Which investment are you committed to protecting this year?

There’s no badge of honor for chaining yourself to your desk chair. Get out.

Big trip or staycation - just get away for a bit and refuel.

Your business will thank you.

So will your family, team, self, etc.

We're headed out on a family vacay tomorrow, and we can't wait!

Do you have summer plans designed to rest and refuel your energy?

Do you wish your team would notice a problem (or potential problem) - and speak up sooner?

If you're currently the only one spotting & fixing problems, there's a reason for that. And there are steps you can take to change it.

In this video: why they hold back, and what to do about it.

Watch, then tell me in the comments or a DM if this is something you're working on, and I'll help you figure out the next step.

Winging it doesn't feel like winging it. In fact, it feels like you're working hard.

You're busy, you're solving problems and getting things done, so it feels productive... but it's actually a hamster wheel.

You can work a full quarter at full speed and still end up pretty much where you started.

The owners who actually grow (and take vacations) aren't busier than you. They're not more disciplined. God knows they don't have more time.

They just decided what the quarter was for, before the quarter started.

Top priorities broken down into a 90-day sprint with weekly accountability.

That's the simple difference between owners who build a business that works FOR them, and not the other way around.

Join me, my team of Coaches, and a room of our clients at GrowthCLUB.

Consider this your permission slip.

Celebrate the win.

That deal you closed… celebrate it.

That hire you made… celebrate it.

That milestone your team hit… celebrate it.

I know the world can be heavy, and your own good news can feel insignificant.

But diminishing your success doesn't lift anyone else up.

So go thank your team. Thank your clients. Thank your family and anyone else who supports you.

Your gratitude is contagious… let people catch it.

The business owners who get things done operate differently.

They are not less "busy" than anyone else, but they follow a system that helps them stay focused despite day-to-day demands.

f you have goals you keep meaning to get to, the solution is not to try harder, it is to build the system.

In fact, you don’t have to build it yourself - you can use the same system I use with my clients.

Register for GrowthCLUB to join my team of coaches and a group of clients. We’ll work with you to install the system into your business.

You thought you made a great hire, but 30 days in, you're disappointed.

Before you blame the hire, consider this: You messed them up.

(Harsh, I know, but stick with me…)

Topgrading reports the cost of a failed new hire is MINIMUM 1x their base salary. Factor in recruiting, training, the ramp time, doing it all over again... then add the client impact, the team impact, the opportunity cost… It adds up faster than you'd think.

You can onboard by default or by design.

If you didn’t design it, your new hires are still experiencing SOMETHING on Day 1. But that something might be chaos, confusion, boredom, overwhelm, neglect... and they are drawing conclusions from it.

That is your onboarding. That's what tells them how you operate.

Your standards are not what you say; they are what the employee experiences.

So start the way you want them to continue - prepared, focused, structured... and fun.

Wow them, if you want them to wow others.

Give them something to rave about when their loved ones ask how the new job is going.

Want help building onboarding that actually works? Send me a DM.
