Bikini prep cracked me open in all the right ways. Turns out I shed more than just body fat 🥲😉

Bikini Comp 👙 Prep update ⤵️

3 weeks out! Feeling good. Cool to see my body responding to the cut and watching more muscle reveal itself.

Still lifting 5x a week and doing 40 min of cardio 5-6 days a week along with hitting 5K daily steps.

has been awesome and works in refeed days to keep my body happy during this process and we’ve already been talking about post show and reversing out of this deficit.

Yea- did you know it takes weeks and weeks to bring your body back up to maintenance calories?

Yes, having a fun meal after show is possible but real damage can be done physically and mentally if you don’t come out of the cut properly and do things like binge.

New level new devil.

Right now I’m flexing SO much discipline. But after show I’ll have to flex it even harder when “I’m not competing” but still shouldn’t wash down krispy cream with a caramel ribbon crunch from Starbbies.

Mentally (and physically) this whole thing is a beast. Thankful for the coaches I’m working with!

From day 1 Tyler has been thinking about long term success and effects this could have on me and my body.

Weighing every bite of food out is annoying but part of this process. I know exactly what 15g of peanut butter looks like on a knife 😂

In general I’ve noticed I’m less patient towards the end of the night and I try and watch myself around the family.

Everyone in the house has been eating super clean and simple. They eat what I’m making! The hubs jokes that he’s also in a cut now.

The family is very excited for my “muscle show” as my daughters call it.

My daughters have never wanted more bites of my food than now- when I’ve already weighed it and really need, want, demand, every bite 🤭

I got in some very rich lady sparkly jewelry 💎 which I’ll have to show you! Bikini is ordered and getting made as I type this! Can’t wait to show you the color!

I have a posing session today with where we’ll chat more about if I’m competing in the wellness division too (the focus there is strong legs).

You’re setting yourself up for failure by keeping unhealthy, high calorie-low nutrient snacks stocked in the fridge “because the kids like them.”

Your will power only goes so far!

What color do you think???

When I see these pics I’m like “oh my gosh I’m starting to look like a bikini competitor girl!” It’s all becoming so real.

I’ve been super dialed in with and for workouts and a food plan and it’s showing!!

I felt like Miss America trying on some of competition suits. When you’re the real deal and a pro like her, one collects multiple sparkly suits!!

It was so helpful to see the color on my skin!

I’ve been doing posing with and she said she can tell I’ve been practicing on my own and it’s showing 🤩

We def have a favorite and top ones and were surprised with certain colors but I’ll share that after because I don’t want my opinion to persuade yours.

Lunch is the most annoying meal to handle in my house (and im just figuring it for me lol)…

🍗 BUT… if I don’t eat it or have something lame or unbalanced I’m hangry, a mean mommy, and am non-stop diving into the snack cabinet during the time between school pick up and dinner.

🐟 These healthy, high protein lunches are for the mom who doesn’t have time to eat lunch.

The whole point of this was to show you you’re not just this thing on autopilot going through the motions like snacking.

I want you to start watching yourself. Now you know what to expect your brain to do next time! Keep noticing. Being the witness to what your mind is doing. How it’s controlling.

I love sharing about this stuff. I spend most of my free time listening to and learning from people who have dedicated their lives to understanding the mind and navigating toward a happy and fulfilled life.

You think you need to starve yourself to lose weight when in reality you need to fill yourself up with the right foods (like those breakfasts I just shared).

Weight loss doesn’t have to be a grind, you just need to know how to do it the right way.

How fantastic to see how changing one meal can help you see results?
