RailFire Response is pleased to announce the expansion of its service portfolio to include specialized Fire and Explosion Investigation Services for railway, transportation and industrial clients across Canada.

This new capability is being introduced through a strategic partnership with Ignition to Suppression Fire Investigations (ITSFI), bringing together two organizations with complementary expertise in emergency response, railway operations, fire investigation and incident management.

The partnership strengthens RailFire Response's ability to support clients throughout the entire incident lifecycle—from the initial emergency response through investigation, determination of cause and the development of actionable recommendations.

A Complete Incident Solution

Railway and industrial incidents are complex events that often require expertise well beyond the initial emergency response. Understanding what happened, why it happened and how future incidents can be prevented is an important part of effective incident management.

By integrating specialized fire and explosion investigation services into its broader service offering, RailFire Response can provide clients with a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to significant incidents.

The Greater Toronto Area (Class 001) RailReady Now Complete! ✅️🎉

Emergency Managers, First Responders, Hazmat Tech's, and Business Continuity Leaders all came together today to learn about Railways and how to operate an EOC and lead during Railway Incidents.

From Emergency Managers to Operations Team Lead's, participants leveraged each others various backgrounds to mitigate a mock Railway Incident.

A huge thank you to all the participants for a memorable day, and to Central York Fire Services for kindly hosting the training event.

Additonally, we extend thanks to CPKC, CN Rail, and Ontario Northland. Also, Emergency Response/Management Officers Michael Magee, Michael Heeringa, and Talia Shortt, MDEM for providing expert guidance on behalf of your Railways!
