🥰 As a menopause advisor for Stork Club, I ran the Menopause Mobile Clinic at the Conference Board in New York, April 16th and 17th.

🥰 HR leaders and Corporate Wellness Managers lined up to speak about menopause challenges that they were experiencing personally, and also explore benefits to be offered in their workplaces.

🥰 Back to back appointments were booked solid, and overflew into virtual 15 min calls all through this week.

♥️ I am thrilled, because this is the beginning of a new movement.

A Recent Study by BANK OF AMERICA, Reveals the Numbers and the Statistics:

🍃 Approximately 1.3 million women in the U.S. will enter menopause each year and 20% of the workforce are in some phase of menopause transition.

🍃 64% of women want menopause-specific benefits, yet only 14% believe their employer recognizes the need.

🍃 76% of HR managers said they discussed menopause with employees, but only 3% of female employees reported talking about it with HR.

🕊 So, let’s go ladies. Let’s ask for benefits to be offered at work for the invaluable talents that women are, at this time in their career.

🍀Dr. Homeyra Faghihi is the founder of Power to the Self online coaching. She coaches women who struggle to say no to set kind and clear boundaries and ask for what they want.

🍀 Homeyra has been a licensed psychotherapist for 24 years and now coaches women to really stand up for themselves and trust that they can make the right decisions.

🍀 As an Empowerment Coach, Homeyra is currently coaching clients in several different countries. Her passion is to empower women to reconnect with their self-worth.

🌟 You have probably heard that ‘Sitting is the New Smoking’.

🌟 Extended inactivity during the day, can cause loss of muscle mass, bone density and core strength.

🍀 One of the ways to actively incorporate balance and core stability in our days, is the simple practice of standing on one legs for as many seconds as we can, a couple of times a day.

🌟 Comment below if you experimented it? And how was your experience?

🍀 The awesome thing is that our body adopts and advances as we practice these simple daily habits 😊
