We are excited to soon be offering an in house VoiP solution that will cost $7/month plus cost of initial setup and hardware. All in all it will be considerably less than most small businesses pay for phone service currently. If you are interested please contact us.

Just learned a neat little trick for people that use either the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro in Clamshell Mode (lid closed with an external display and keyboard attached). I've noticed that the fans on my MB Air run a lot more with the lid closed. Reason being that the vents are at the hinge point of the screen just above the keyboard. While it can run with the lid closed it does run hotter and thus reduces the life of the components. If you have the lid open then you have issues of the screens being split and it can be a pain to deal with. To rectify this situation take a weak magnet and put it on the left side of the keyboard in the area of the power port. This will make the MBA think that the lid is closed and your displays will run like normal but your airflow will be increased and your fans won't run as loud or as constantly. Since I do not have a MacBook Pro to test I can not tell you where the sensor is for that but google should be able to.

You hear it all the time that Mac's don't get viruses and such, but as the article points out most Mac users do care about security, there just aren't as many security issues as there are for Windows, but they are still out there. If you think that Mac's are not susceptible to Malware then maybe you also believe that Nickelback is a good band.

Oh, you Mac users and your wacky beliefs!
