Are Your Prayers Hindered?

1 Peter 3:7
"Husband, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wife, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers."

This verse has helped me a lot in my marriage to correct me and pause me when I'm feeling proudful or stubborn. Its a on going daily reminder.

Men. We are to be live with our wife in a way that we acknowledge their needs and feelings. We are not to look down on them as inferior but calls us husbands to be respectful, considerate as women are wired to be more emotional.

When we get married we become one and BOTH co-heirs to eternal life. We are to treat each other with Love & Respect which gives us a shared hope for our future.

Here's the big one. THE QUALTITY of our marriage life affects our spiritual life particularly our communication with God. Disrespect in the marriage can create barriers to spiritual growth and effectiveness in prayer. Basically God tells us Men "Don't be coming to me in prayer bro asking me for this and that until you go get right with your Wife"
