We wrapped up the coffee education schedule for May on Saturday with a with fun family cupping thanks to !

PSA: We are taking a short vacation but our June Coffee Education Experiences are up on the website ( link in the profile).

Today is also our last roast and ship day until June 2nd. Any orders placed today through May 30th will be roasted and shipped the first week of June.

We are thrilled to announce we got a couple pretty nice scores from today. Our Mikava Gesha .coffee from Colombia got a lofty 97 points while our Anaerobic Natrual from Yemen got an amazing 95!

Certainly these types of scores are not possible without partnering with insanely good producers like Paul and Kevin Doyle at Mikava and terrific exporters like in Yemen.

It also takes a world-class coffee roaster like the W1 to successfully bring out everything these delicate coffees offer.

The Yemen is at the “low stock” point. And, while only a tiny bit remains at this writing of the Mikava Gesha, we will be releasing a handful 25 gram tins on the final two roast dates for this marvelous coffee—May 12th and May 19th. Keep and eye on our insta stories on those dates.

A star was born when we pre-released this one at the WOC earlier this month.

Some of you were lucky enough to snag a bit of the .coffee micro-release of their natural Gesha in March.

This newer Mikava Gesha release of their hybrid processed is also micro but it is perhaps the most unique coffee we have ever released.

The ultra rare coffee was grown at Mikava’s Marcella farm in Risaralda, Colombia.

Lavender, jasmine, lemongrass, savory that cools to sugar cane sweetness.

Thanks Alexander for taking the Private Custom Roasting Class this past weekend. We did some interesting experimentation with the Maillard and Drying phases on the W1 during his session. Our custom roasting class offers great opportunity for you to explore coffee roasting on a deeper level.
