I have been taking photos professionally for over ten years, and for some reason the importance of preserving a memory did not really hit home until my family got together and decided to give my Mom something she has wanted for the better part of two decades.

We take pictures of ourselves, events, family and friends to share online, and I think that it is amazing. But maybe there is a reason why it is so easy to click a photo to indicate a like, and Facebook and Instagram have yet to make a “LOVE” button.

A printed image can be much more powerful than viewing something on a screen. Displaying a print better serves the image. By providing it its own space, the photo spurs conversation, and serves as an effortless reminder for the time and place it represents, minus the cumbersome task of scrolling through images on a phone, or sifting trough countless other images on a computer.

So whether you decide to hire me or another photographer...just be sure to order some prints and display them proudly.
