📊 Weekly Market Update | June 23–26, 2026
It was a rough week on Wall Street... and if you've been watching your investment accounts, you probably felt it.
Here's the quick breakdown:
📉 Nasdaq: -4.6%
📉 S&P 500: -2.0%
📈 Dow Jones: +0.6% (held its ground!)
So... what happened? Investors started pulling back on AI and tech stocks (particularly semiconductors) after growing concerns that the MASSIVE spending behind artificial intelligence may not be producing returns fast enough.
Add in renewed tensions between the U.S. and Iran (🛢️ oil and the Strait of Hormuz back in focus ), plus hawkish signals from the Federal Reserve hinting at possible rate hikes later this year—and you've got a week that tested a lot of portfolios.
💡 But here's the thing: weeks like this are NORMAL. And they're actually where good financial planning earns its keep.
