Despite everything we learned in grad school, money is a fact.

When money gets tight or our businesses takes a dip, the most common knee jerk reaction is to think, “Maybe I should lower my fee.”

Sure, lowering your fee may result in a few more yes’s but it won’t solve the real problem:

🧚‍♀️ your marketing

🧚‍♀️ messaging

🧚‍♀️ website traffic

They aren’t converting, so your income is dipping.

Lowering your fee may give you a short term win of converting one or two more clients that you would have lost if your fee was $20 (or $200) higher.

But you are no closer to having a solid marketing strategy and messaging that resonates with your ideal clients.

Yes, your ideal clients aren’t just folks looking to solve a certain problem, they are also folks who can pay your properly-calculated fee.

The fee that the CEO in you decided, not your bleeding-heart good therapist self decided.
