A full teardown, deep boiler descale, and a complete rebuild on this Quick Mill machine. We pulled the boiler, flushed years of scale and residue, resealed everything, and brought it back to life — clean, tight, and ready to brew.⁠

Machines like these deserve love and patience — and a proper spa day once in a while.

This Rocket R60V gave me a run for my money.

New rotary pump, new control module, new pressure profiling valve. Full teardown of the hydraulic system, full descale inside and out, rebuilt the E61 group head with all new valves, and even had to go into the brew boiler after it clogged the group three separate times. Yeah—three times. That’s when I said, “Okay, this is not okay,” and took it all the way apart.

The amount of scale inside this machine was wild. Took about a week of solid work, flushing, cleaning, testing, and reassembling everything piece by piece until it was spotless and running strong again.

Now it’s solid, brewing beautifully, and honestly… kinda proud of how it came out.

And yes, that’s me in the reflection.
Still standing. Still wrenching.

🚀 New Video Alert! 🚀

We've just finished restoring a vintage Lavazza Espresso Point, and the results are incredible! This machine was in storage for a while, so we replaced the water pump, gave the inside a deep clean, and polished the panels to a brand new shine.

In the video, we test the machine using a pair of reusable pods we found, dial them in, and pull an amazing decaf shot of espresso. You don't want to miss this journey of bringing a classic back to life!
