Welcome a few artists and makers who are joining us this Saturday for Exit Through The Box Shop!

builds custom LED light installations and wearables for festivals, parties, and your home. Sculptural, audio-reactive pieces that turn sound into color and movement. Each piece is designed and built in-house in San Francisco, from the circuit boards through the 3d printed diffusers.

Ben Reiter is the artist behind Neonsmith. More than 10 years after learning to make EL wire clothing with friends, Ben has become an expert in electronics, leds, and 3d printing. He has a deep passion for making art that connects with music and brings joy to people.

Kayl Johnson ( ) is a multimedia artist working on skateboards, clothes, murals and more with shows coming up all over Northern CA and the PNW- "skate * paint * create"

What and Who is an temple ??
Bringing the sound to an all-night lineup at @ Saturday, May 30th - Opulent Temple has been around as long as we have - and built much of their staging at The Box Shop in early years.

Opulent Temple is "a leading not-for-profit electronic music stage production emerging from Burning Man Project and based in San Francisco. We operate by volunteer effort and are funded solely by donation through fundraiser events all year round.

The trademark DJ booth known as the O-pod is comprised of artfully twisted steel details, designed and welded by the OT resident DJ’s themselves. The stage is illuminated mainly by firelight from DJ-controlled flame thrower effects. The sound is raw, unexpected, full-bodied and visceral. The iconic symbol of the Dancing Shiva has been emblazoned at a wide array of events across North America and Europe. What they find at Opulent Temple is a peak experience of sacred dance to world class music."

Coming up at Exit Through The Box Shop - Saturday, May 30th -

installs The Reactor -

"The Reactor is a machine that tests humans on their emotional reactivity. It asks the question: how would a machine rate you on your humanity?

Participants react to emotional scenarios guided by on-screen prompts, and the Reactor uses voice recognition and facial emotion recognition technology to rate their performance. ...One person stands on one side of it to operate the machine, and the "audience" stands on the other side to watch their performance."

Charlie Stigler is an artist and fabricator whose work ranges from monumental steel sculptures to digital installations and immersive experiences.
