📢🎬 Good news for California entertainment and media workers: Four SAG-AFTRA-supported bills have passed the California Legislature and are headed to Gov. Newsom’s desk. Together, they strengthen the industry by protecting the Film & Television Jobs Program (AB/SB 186), creating a new post-production tax credit (AB 2319), supporting local news organizations (AB 2222), and requiring transparency when synthetic performers are used in advertising (SB 1050).

SAG-AFTRA and our partners fought for these bills to protect jobs and help ensure California remains a competitive place to produce and create.
