On 12/09/22 at approximately 9:22 pm, Vallejo Police Department received a report that a 2007 Infiniti G35 collided into the Chase Bank building on Tennessee St. 🚗🏦

Our Officers arrived at the scene and observed the driver was still seated inside the Infiniti. Officers immediately noticed the driver was DUI. The driver was slurring his words, his eyes were bloodshot red and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. 🤪🍺

When our officers asked the driver to exit his vehicle, he refused. The driver tried to start his car by turning his ignition switch, not realizing that his Infiniti was inoperable and dead. Our officers escorted the driver out of his totaled vehicle and arrested him. 🚔

Our officers searched the Infiniti and located a loaded, unregistered AK-47 in the back of the car. Our officers also discovered the driver had two prior DUI convictions.🔫

Thankfully nobody was injured during this incident, and our officers were able to get a dangerous driver and assault rifle off our streets! 👏🚓

On November 8 at approximately 6:45 PM, VPD officers were dispatched to an active sideshow in the area of Mini Drive and Lewis Brown Road

Officers arrived at the scene and observed approximately 30 vehicles actively participating in a sideshow. A white Ford Mustang was parked in the streets and the vehicle occupants were watching the sideshow. When the driver of the Mustang saw the police approaching the vehicle, the driver made an illegal U-turn in front of the officers and attempted to flee the scene.

VPD officers caught up to the Mustang and were able to pull it over. The driver and two passengers were compliant, identified themselves and were subsequently arrested for spectating a sideshow. When the driver was being escorted out of the vehicle, officers saw a “Ghost Gun” tucked in-between the driver seat and the center console. The driver was found to be on probation for a felony.

One of the passengers, who was also in violation his felony probation terms was arrested too. When officers escorted him out of the vehicle, they located a “Ghost Gun” tucked inside the waistband of his pants.

The third passenger was arrested for spectating a sideshow and lying to the police about her real name.

When the officers searched the Mustang, they located three Oxycodone tablets which weren’t prescribed to anyone at the scene.

The Mustang was towed from the scene and all three spectators went to jail with costly and lengthy charges.

- Give at least 24 hour notice if you're unable to make a shift or give notice when you will be late for a shift.

- Must be certified/licensed to carry all of your equipment
- Must have reliable means of transportation
