Christmas 2026 falls on a Friday, but for online stores the real deadline comes more than a week earlier.

Last-ship dates for delivery by Christmas:
• FedEx Ground Economy: Dec 15
• USPS Ground Advantage: Dec 17
• USPS Priority Mail: Dec 18

Your own order cutoff has to land 1–3 business days before those dates, depending on how fast you fulfill. W**eries have even less room: w**e can't ship through USPS, and every package needs a 21+ signature.

We've redesigned the page customers use to switch an order to pickup.

It opens from an email or text, in your store's name, and leads with the closest pickup location: distance, pickup hours and expected delivery, with two buttons, "Choose this pickup point" or "Keep original address".

Two nearby alternatives sit right below, plus a full map with search. Confirming takes one more tap, and a single checkbox saves the choice for every future order. About 55% of customers who switch check it.

Holiday shipping pricing is here, and the dates matter for your Q4 budget.

USPS holiday prices start Oct 4. UPS and FedEx residential demand surcharges start Oct 25 and Oct 26, and the busiest weeks run Nov 22 through Dec 27.

In those weeks, a home delivery by Ground carries $7.25 in residential and peak fees at either carrier. A package sent to a pickup location is a commercial delivery, so those two fees don't apply.

A missed w**e delivery costs more than the reship.

Every w**e box needs an adult signature, and club releases usually arrive on weekdays while members are at work. After a few missed releases, some members simply cancel.

We did the math for a typical club member (6 bottles, 3 shipments a year): about $613 a year in gross profit, or about $1,840 lost if they leave with three years to go. Lose just 1% of a 1,700-member club and that's about $31,000 of future profit.
