Sunday, May 1: The annual How Weird Street Faire will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Howard and 2nd streets. Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected in the area. Event participants are encouraged to take public transportation to the event.
The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.:
• Howard Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
• 2nd Street between Mission and Folsom streets
• Intersections: 2nd Street at Howard, Tehama, Minna and Natoma streets

The Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on Sat-Sun, April 16-17 in . The festival will be held from 11AM-7PM each day with the Grand Parade being held on Sunday. The City of San Francisco is refunding $6.1M is overpaid parking fines. See if your name is on the list to get a refund by going to the link here. Better hurry, there is a deadline!

Those of us used to walking around with an open tab of tickets owed to SFMTA might be surprised to hear this: San Francisco actually owes hundreds of people for overpaying citations. Those interested in getting that cash back are running out to claim the money.

The Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade begins at 5:15 pm at Second and Market Streets this Saturday, February 20.
