Sunday, May 1: The annual How Weird Street Faire will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Howard and 2nd streets. Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected in the area. Event participants are encouraged to take public transportation to the event.
The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.:
• Howard Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
• 2nd Street between Mission and Folsom streets
• Intersections: 2nd Street at Howard, Tehama, Minna and Natoma streets

Those of us used to walking around with an open tab of tickets owed to SFMTA might be surprised to hear this: San Francisco actually owes hundreds of people for overpaying citations. Those interested in getting that cash back are running out to claim the money.

The Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade begins at 5:15 pm at Second and Market Streets this Saturday, February 20.
