This Jack Kornfield post has often made me laugh - partially because I'm a cat person 😻 and partially because it is a bit unexpected from him... It came to mind today when thinking of something to write, because last week was difficult in a variety of ways. 🆖 🆘💍🛑🔂
To start, I lost a valuable, heirloom ring - which was bad enough, but Ms. Idiot had worn it all over the world and never had it insured. 👿 🥵 My late husband used to fuss at me about that and I'd just say, "Why bother? I never take it off!" I'm sure he's... well, he wouldn't laugh that I lost it, but I suppose everyone likes to be right? 🤷♀️
There were other things, closer to home, but not for publication - the players are all here... Will simply say that “Mothers are Mothers” at any age (yours and theirs!) and will always put their children first, even if sometimes they are wrong - yet don't realize it… Complicated… 🫣🤬
I hope some of you had more of a "dog's week" than I did! 💙🐕💕🐾
