Are you a small business owner? Do you struggle to keep up with your marketing? We would love to learn more about it!

We're seeking participants to give us more insight into your current marketing and content creation strategy. If you own a small business and are currently running ads and creating content for your business, we would love to speak with you.

The user interview will be with a researcher, where you’ll answer a list of questions regarding your small business, marketing and content creation strategy, and pain points. In exchange for 60-90 minutes of your time at a remote session, we are happy to offer you $75 in the form of a gift card.

You must be available to meet remotely for a 60-90-minute interview. The available interview days are Monday, October 7, Wednesday, October 9, Friday, October 11, Monday, October 14, Wednesday, October 16, or Friday, October 18.

Our first on-site team gathering since 2019 kicked off in early March. As we're predominantly remote, this marked a special occasion for many of us to meet face-to-face finally. Throwback Thursday Blog!

With the rise of VR and AR, we thought it would be interesting to revisit one of our past staff’s, Christina Loo, blog about VR. Written in 2016, this blog discusses challenges VR designers face, including object selection, locomotion methods, standardizing basic actions, and social awkwardness. It highlights the need for improvement in these areas to enhance the VR experience while acknowledging the rapid evolution of VR and AR technology. With the recent release of the Apple Vision Pro, we were curious to see what issues have been solved and which remain. The biggest similarity we still see is the social embarrassment of wearing the device. Despite efforts to mitigate this issue with features like eye replication, it remains a concern, particularly in public settings. Although this has a huge impact in the technology world, there are still many improvements to be made and past pain points are still relevant.

VR designers face challenges such as standardizing object selection, improving locomotion methods, creating consistent shortcuts for basic OS actions, and overcoming social embarrassment. With rapid advancements in VR, solutions to these issues are expected to emerge in the future.
