I had the pleasure of designing the logo for a food truck specializing in artisan caramel, “Méme du caramel” ( ).
The name which means “Grandma’s Caramel” in French, is inspired by the owner’s grandmother, a former French chef. Her signature caramel cake, once served as the highlight of her course menus, will be the star item on the menu.

The truck will mainly operate in Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefecture, so if you’re in the area, be sure to check it out!

来年オープン予定のキャラメル専門店フードトラック「Méme du caramel (メメ・ド・キャラメル)」 様のロゴをデザインしました。
お店の名前「お婆ちゃんのキャラメル」は、オーナー様のお祖母様が元フレンチシェフだったことに由来しているようで、その方がコース料理の最後に振る舞っていた特製キャラメルケーキが、このお店の看板商品になるそうです。
愛知、岐阜、三重を中心に営業予定なので、お近くの方はぜひ足を運んでみてください！

アメリカから日本に拠点を移してから、ずっとやりたいと思っていたので、ようやくこの報告ができて大変嬉しく思います。

▼ワークショップの内容
この2日間のワークショップでは、プロのサインペインターが使用する道具を使って、ブラシレタリング技術を学び、オリジナル看板を制作します。
 
・１日目
講師によるデモンストレーション。
道具の説明と基本的な筆使いの紹介。
「カジュアル」と「ゴシック」２つの書体を練習し、ブラシレタリングの基礎を学びます。
 
・２日目
参加者は60cm x 25cmサイズの看板に、自由にデザインしたフレーズをペイントします。
看板製作プロセスは、①デザインの描画、②電動パウンスマシンを使用したパターンの作成、③ペイント、の３ステップで進行します。
ワークショップの最後には、各自オリジナルの看板をお持ち帰りいただけます。
 
初心者の方も経験者の方も大歓迎です！

Here are some photos of my client’s door I painted last week. They had contacted me a while back when they were constructing their new home, and here it is! I used 1 shot enamel paint and gilded 23k gold leaf on an acrylic surface. (Designed by me, text provided by client)

先日クライアント様のご自宅にて。リビングとキッチンへ繋がるドアのアクリルに、23Kギルディングとペイント施工させていただきました。文字要素はお客様のご提案です。新築の設計段階からご連絡をいただき、仕上がりイメージをお伺いした上で、鉛筆でのデザインから最後のペイントまで、全てハンドメイドです。イメージ通りの仕上がりだと、お客様に喜んでいただきました。

It is officially summer - festival season! Once again I designed a shirt for Sweet Love Shower( )! This 3-day festival takes place at Mount Fuji every year, and this year it goes on from 8/30-9/1. The ‘sprout’ inside last year’s design has grown into a tree…and this year is also ’s 35th anniversary, congratulations!!

今年もスペースシャワーTV主催の野外フェス 2024 のオフィシャルグッズとして、Tシャツをデザインさせてもらいました。昨年のデザインに入っていた新芽が大樹に育つというストーリー。今年は開局35周年！おめでとうございます！

Continued from my last post: This is the window I painted for Cafe & Diner WAGER, gilded using 23K gold leaf. They wanted something “classic but not too hardcore” and that’s exactly what they got! It felt so good to paint this one.

They finally open tomorrow! Congratulations ✨

先日の壁画に続きCafe & Diner WAGER様のウィンドウ(約5m x 2m)に、23Kゴールドリーフを使用したサインを施工させていただきました。「クラシックでありつつ、イカつくなり過ぎないように」とオーダーをいただきましたので、書体の相性やバランス、装飾は勿論ですが、ゴールドリーフの入れ方には特にこだわりました。施工中はアドレナリンが出て楽しすぎました。

いよいよ明日5/16(Thu)にオープンです！！！

I designed a logo for “Somewhere in Tokyo” - a multipurpose gallery space that magically appears “somewhere” in Tokyo. An unpredictable reservation-basis event location where various cultures intermingle, with events as diverse as exhibitions and sales of paintings and art pieces by up-and-coming artists, all types of multidisciplinary art exhibitions, drink and food pop-ups, and music experiences. I was inspired by the mysterious concept of “Somewhere in Tokyo” while creating this logo. Definitely check them out if the ever-changing art/music/fashion scene in Tokyo is something that interests you!

都内某所に出現した多目的空間 のロゴをデザインしました。耳が早いあなたは既にその名を聞いたことがあるのでは？しかしその全貌は未だ謎に包まれたまま。今回のデザインは、そんな稀有な存在感そのものからインスパイアされて、自然にフローして完成しました（３枚目は最初に描いたラフ）。アート・音楽・ファッションなど、あらゆる物が混ざり合いながら、変化を続ける東京のカルチャーに興味があればHP(somewhereintokyo.com)をチェックして損はないはず。複数のDJによるMIXやセレクトされた音楽も掲載されていて、ドライブや作業用の音楽を探している人にもオススメです。
