Still thinking about an incredible evening with Synexis at Werqwise 1301 Sansome ✨

Synexis Capital Day kicked off on the rooftop with an intimate LP × GP × FO Roundtable Dinner, bringing fund managers and capital allocators together for meaningful conversation with the Bay as the backdrop. From there, the evening moved downstairs to our 2nd-floor lounge for the Curated VC × Founder Mixer, filling the space with founders, investors, a thought-provoking panel, and conversations that kept going right up to close.

A huge thank you to Pavel Vinitsky and the entire Synexis team for bringing such an engaged community into our space. It was exactly the kind of evening we love to see at Werqwise: great people, great ideas, and connections that continue well beyond the event itself.

Most office plant advice assumes you work in a sun-drenched greenhouse with a dedicated plant person on staff. Most of us don't.

We put together a guide to 10 plants that actually hold up in a real workspace, the ones that survive inconsistent watering, tolerate a corner that only gets indirect light, and don't quietly die over a long weekend. Snake plants, pothos, dracaena, and a few that bring in color beyond green: Chinese Evergreen for pink, Croton for pretty much every warm shade at once.

The advice we keep coming back to: choose for the office you actually have, not the one you saw on Pinterest. And think about who's realistically going to water it.

Your office doesn't need to become a greenhouse. It could probably just use a little more life.

This week at Werqwise 465 California, we hosted an expert panel exploring the forces shaping AI mergers and acquisitions in 2026.

Moderated by our Co Founder and COO, Naveen Khugputh, the conversation explored what drives valuation premiums in early stage AI companies, from proven enterprise ROI and proprietary data to defensible technology and sustainable competitive advantage. The discussion then examined how AI acquisitions are being structured today, including the advantages and disadvantages of acquihires, earn outs, and other deal structures, as well as the key areas of due diligence that founders should be prepared for.
