Hey all,

The club I teach for in Ft. Bragg, CA is hosting international top shooter Mike Seeklander for a Defensive Handgun Class in Ft. Bragg CA.

Class is the weekend of August 22nd and 3rd, 2025.

Mike Seeklander is one of the TOP shooting instructors in the U.S. today. (Check out his bio on his webiste, in the attached link.)

This is a GREAT opportunity to train with someone I would personally buy airline tickets, rent a car, get a hotel, etc. to train with.

And for most CA folks, it's just a few hours drive. (And there's LOTS to do here on the Mendocino Coast for a non shooting spouse or partner while you go to class.)

I was signed up for the original dates, but the new dates conflict with a family vacation so I won't be there.

BUT YOU SHOULD BE!!!!

Against a tense backdrop of uncertain weather forecasts, disagreements in strategy, and related timing dilemmas predicated on the need for optimal tidal conditions, Eisenhower decided before dawn on June 5 to proceed with Overlord. Later that same afternoon, he scribbled a note intended for release, accepting responsibility for the decision to launch the invasion and full blame should the effort to create a beachhead on the Normandy coast fail.

Much more polished is his printed Order of the Day for June 6, 1944, which Eisenhower began drafting in February. The order was distributed to the 175,000-member expeditionary force on the eve of the invasion.

While driving to meet with staff, Execushield Operations Director Evan Kubota came across a motoryclist down with a rapidly spreading fire moving toward the downed biker. Acting quickly, Kubota dragged the biker away from the approaching flames before repositioning his vehicle and loading the biker in the bed with the assistance of other bystandards.

After moving him to safety, emergency personnel were able to treat and transport the victim to a nearby hospital. Director Kubota further assited the fire team by dragging fire hose to the fire.

Execushield staff receive first-aid and situational awareness training, allowing them to make split-second decisions and provide aid not only to our clients, but the communies we serve.

Sending wishes for a safe voyage to the Stad Amsterdam. Execushield has been providing landside security for three weeks to this beautiful vessel as it paid a visit to San Francisco.

On October 13th, Execushield Security Supervisor Thornberry and Security Officer Shore we on duty at one of the many theaters Execushield provides service to.

The subject pictured below, came into the site inquiring about a lost knife. The subject was in a law enforcement uniform, and armed with a holstered firearm.

Supervisor Thornberry, who is prior LE, immediatly noticed that the uniform appeared to be worn improperly. After requesting a second Officer for backup, Supervisor Thornberry was able to engage in passive questioning of the subject, and determined that he was not a real law enforcement officer.

Police were notified, responded, and arrested the subject without incident.

The professionalism, attention to detail, and tactics utlilized by Supervisor Thornberry and Officer Shore were critical in controlling this incident and brining it to the best possible conclusion and prevented a possbile critical incident for our client and their customers.

Great to see our newest officers undergoing CPR/1st Aid/AED as well as handcuffing. This full day training helps to prepare our staff to work at the variety of sites Execushield protects.
