The final touches are underway for a Women Only getaway at the end of October 2025. A week in a beautiful gem of a town- Puerto Morelos - south of Cancun, Mexico will be home for this week-long getaway. This time away will be an opportunity for women, in the 2nd stage of life (45 years +), to meet others on the same journey - make new friends, travel on their own, AND most importantly, be able to listen to and discuss important topics that often are avoided and/or misunderstood.... Having been born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, this annual event has always been a fun and exciting time to be out and about in the various San Francisco neighborhoods. A little under a month away is Fleet Week which culminates in the air show which includes the infamous Blue Angels.
Here's a schedule of events and a resource to help you plan a successful outing:

Each year, the Blue Angels perform a choreographed show between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz at SF Fleet Week.

Do you have any international travel planned? If you have a passport which will be expiring within the next year PLEASE be sure to allow enough time to renew it. Also keep in mind that many countries will require your passport to be valid for 6 months after your return date. CURRENTLY - standard processing is 4-6 months and expedited service is 3 months. Don't let an expired passport ruin your vacation!

We have another trip to Puerto Morelos in April 2024. We've been asked about a getaway a in Cancun - closer to nightlife, all-inclusive, adults-only. This is in the works... any requests as we start the legwork for building your ultimate getaway????

AIR TRAVEL- Now, more so than in previous years, it's imperative that you invest in trip insurance. Airlines are not responsible for weather related delays.... travel insurance can alleviate those incurred costs IF your flight is canceled or delayed causing you to miss your connecting flight which in turns means you may miss your check-in date at your destination.... It doesn't end there - your checked luggage - where does it end up? Did you know that many airlines subcontract out delivery services for lost/late luggage? For peace of mind, always budget for trip/travel insurance. When you need it, it can be a budget saver!
