Hello hello!
I want to share a wedding I photographed recently. It was a lovely intimate ceremony with just close family and friends - one of my favorite ways to celebrate love!

Santa Rosa's Christian Church was such a lovely venue! It was able to accomodate both the ceremony and the lunch reception, in addition to beautiful backdrops for photos.

Enjoy a brief recap of the lovely day - I won't divulge everything, as the rest of the photos will be a surprise for the newlyweds.

Tim and I have been in contact for about a week now. He planned a surprise proposal to his cute girlfriend Hallie somewhere in the city. I suggested the Golden Gate Bridge since it's so iconic and I knew we would get gorgeous photos there.

It was cloudy, a bit windy, but the bridge was still visible so OF COURSE there were a TON of tourists there! It's ok, with a bit of creative angles, I can still manage to get some beautiful shots of just the happy couple.

I had a great time photographing you two, Hallie and Tim! Enjoy the rest of San Francisco!

Hello!
I wanted to share with you all a special wedding I photographed recently. The wedding was the perfect mix of fun and sophisticated, filled with family and close friends.

The ceremony was held under a beautiful oak tree in the middle of a grassy field. Fun fact! It was slated to rain ALL DAY, but we got lucky! The day ended up being beautiful and perfectly sunny.

Tina and Ethan, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! I hope you two have thoroughly enjoyed your first month of marriage!

The importance of First Looks

I have many brides and grooms who decide to have their first looks together. I believe it's a wonderfully intimate moment for the couple to be able to soak in the beauty of each other, without an audience.

As a photographer, it is my chance to capture the pure emotion and surprise of seeing their other half dolled up for their special day together. Oftentimes there are tears, smiles, and lots of kisses. It's my job to capture whatever emotion arises.

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Henry and Ashley last week at the lovely grounds at Saratoga Springs. I'd like to think it captures happiness, nostalgia, and a vision for their future together.

Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks, I'll definitely be sharing more of their big day.

I photographed a simple wedding on Monday at Kekaha Beach. It was just the bride and groom, me, the officiant, a few friends, and a beautiful sunset. It was such a spectacular ceremony!

I had a fabulous time photographing these two! Best of all, they were SO FUN to be around! Maizura is such a clown, I love it! She kept making everyone laugh throughout our time together.

Congratulations, Mark and Maizura! You two are a match made in heaven. I can't wait to show you the rest of the photos.

Grace, Rick and I decided to meet at the St. Regis in Princeville for coffee before shooting their engagement session. The morning suddenly started pouring rain and I thought our session was doomed. I was in communications with Grace and decided I should I make my way up to the North Shore as soon as the skies parted. Unfortunately, as I was driving the rain came back with a vengeance. I knew there was NO WAY we could have a session in this weather!

It was indeed raining when I arrived, but I saw a slim glimmer of hope, just as we finished our respective tea, hot chocolate and coffee. I saw the rain stopped and I knew we had to dash down to the beach before the rain returned. I just needed a liiiiiittle bit of time so we could have a mini photo session.

PS. Life lesson for today: make the best out of every scenario! We could have moped around the hotel for the rest of the afternoon, but instead, we seized the day! Grace tells me I 'captured the beauty in the midst of a storm.' What do you think?

Aloooooooha!

Yesterday was a special day, as I was the photographer for a SURPRISE VOW RENEWAL! Victor wins the husband of the year award for surprising Danielle with a top secret event in which 'everyone wears white'

I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. Victor and Danielle absolutely exude love and I am so honored to have been a part of their special day.
