#7 , The Pier Project.

I have been photographing Piers of California for some time now. They illicit many positive memories; ships returning from their voyage, bringing tales of new lands, new promises with them and calling out the adventurer in us. At the same time, being the symbols of melancholy, separation and distances. Somewhere in this dichotomy, here are some of the frames.

Chicago's architecture represents a unique anomaly amidst the usual American megalopolis landscape. After the Great Chicago fire, the city was literally built on Steel and Wrought Iron. Now 146 years later, the city built with iron has a intriguing charm to it.
