I wanted to say hello 👋 and introduce myself to some new followers. My name is Nicole Bhow Maier. I've been an interior designer for almost 20 years now, and started Threshold in 2012. I've operated from both coasts and designed for clients all over the country--focusing on hospitality and residential projects. We have recently had some exciting features in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and Good Housekeeping.

My goal for 2024 is to be better about documenting my work to showcase here on IG. A few of the exciting projects in the works: a wood-fired pizza restaurant in Hilton Head, SC, an Oakland hair salon, a residence in the Boston suburbs, and my own home here on the island of Alameda, California. Stay tuned for some big reveal photos in the next few!
