FB Friends,

I'm about to start a new chapter in my life which encompasses all of my design and sales skills. Starting on Monday, September 8th, I will be the newest Sales Executive at the 16,000 square foot Design Within Reach studio in San Francisco. As many of you know, I am a huge fan of mid-century modern design, and DWR sells so many iconic pieces from mid-century designers, as well as pieces that will most likely become as iconic as those designed by Eames and Saarinen!

I will continue to operate Olive Juice Designs and offer design services, but on a smaller scale. I certainly can't imagine not being involved in an overall room design if asked!

If you, or anyone you know, is interested in any Design Within Reach furnishings, please reach out to me! I will be able to rep DWRs pieces for anyone, anywhere! Just dropped off this mid-century chair at my upholsterer for a living room project I'm working on. Great bones and lines on this piece. I'm not going to give any hints on what the fabric looks like, but I promise you this... it will be a huge transformation from it's current state!

Wow! This is so cool! So the inner grandma in me loves doilies, as you all know. But unlike the doilies that graced my home growing up (under frames, under lamps, under EVERYTHING), I love to see doilies being used in contemporary ways. This Polish artist takes it to another level! Love this!!!
