Watching the solar eclipse was pretty awesome. Do you know what's more awesome? That the One who made the sun and moon, wants a relationship with each one of us.

The bravery of these soldiers is what made this country what it is. These are amazing photos of that day so long ago.

I really enjoyed working with the kids for Flashes of Hope last month. The courage that it takes for them to go through what they have to deal with is inspiring!! This little girl was especially sweet.

One of the greatest privileges I have as a photographer is to give my time to worthy causes. I had the opportunity to work with Flashes of Hope last week, they provide professional photos for kids with cancer. I enjoyed working with all of the kids but this girl was the highlight of my afternoon. She has such an infectious smile and the cutest little giggle that made me laugh every time I heard it. We both had fun with our photo shoot. As she was leaving she said "I hope I get to see you again." I hope so too just not in a hospital.
