On January 18, 2026, at 8 PM PKT, we proudly launched Cohort 2 of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Generative AI Training.
Close to 4,000 participants from over 200 universities—spanning engineering, business, arts, medicine, pure sciences, law, and more—have joined the Cohort-2 of HEC Generative AI Training. This Pak Angels organized program will be delivered online over 6 weeks, free of cost to all participants, and is designed to empower them with Generative AI application development skills.

Mohammad Anwar Khan, Founder of Pak Angels, emphasized how Generative AI is a game-changer that will shape our personal, professional, and national future. He shared how Pak Angels has already trained 18,000+ professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, faculty, and students across seven cohorts with partners iCodeGuru and ASPIRE Pakistan. This 9th cohort marks a powerful continued collaboration with National Computing Education Accreditation Council - NCEAC and HEC Pakistan as promoter of the program to thousands of students in 200+ Universities, and sponsor ULEFUSA.
Dr. Nomaan M***i, founding board member of ULEFUSA (www.ulefusa.com), sponsoring the program, shared the passion of few overseas Pakistanis in the U.S. like us to enable Pakistan’s youth with world-class skills to serve the world with high value products and services.
Zafar Shahid, PhD, Founder of ICode Guru calls Generative AI is like the New Electricity how it is going to change on how we live and work in coming years, and drew parallels to industrialization—when initial job losses gave way to better opportunities as people adapted. He highlighted the same transition happening today with Generative AI: the sooner we learn skills like Agentic AI, the sooner we uplift our personal and professional lives.
Hassan Syed highlighted the importance of learning Generative AI Skills now, and be able to drive innovation and entrepreurship more effectively, and also gave session on how participants could develop powerful chat using the Generative AI skills they would learn through this training.
This training is more than just technology—it is about preparing Pakistan’s youth for the future, empowering startups, and driving prosperity at scale.
