Facilitating a leadership development workshop yesterday, we discussed the impact of multi-generations in the workplace. Using Massey's Generational Theory, we explored how childhood events shape our values. While we're all familiar with Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, we also talked about the next entrants - . Here are some of the events that will shape their values:

- Growing up during a pandemic (virtual learning, parents WFH/hybrid)
- Increased visibility and acceptance of LGBTQ+ rights
- Climate change and environmentalism
- Social media and its impact on mental health

What do you think? Did we miss anything? As we prepare for the next generation to enter the workforce, it's important to understand the events that will shape their values and perspectives. Let's continue the conversation on the impact of generational differences in the workplace.

Hard to believe, but my sweet book turns ONE next Wednesday! I just learned that the book needs 50 reviews in order for Amazon to feature it next week on its "birthday," which was selected because it was my dad's birthday as well.
