However, emojis aren’t universal. In some cultures, 👍 means “got it,” while in others, it’s more like flipping someone off. Imagine the legal chaos if a fist bump 👊, heart ❤️, or an applause👏 emoji started sealing deals too!
In localization, the lesson is simple: use emojis sparingly — especially in official writings!

While every new chapter comes with its own set of challenges, it also ignites new possibilities. We are honored to be celebrating 29 years of providing customized language services to our clients. We cannot express enough our gratitude for the support of our clients, our global HTP teams, and our linguists.

This year wasn’t always easy in the many adjustments we all made around the world. However, with tremendous endurance, compassion and grit we overcame the challenges together and have another year in the books.
