30 years ago today, I rolled out of my driveway for the first time in my baby blue Datsun pick up loaded with pool service supplies. Although I had 1 week of training, I was an instant "expert" in my field. Looking back, I see that I had Gods blessings in finding and learning the best profession on the planet.

Attention Pool Owners. Swim season is almost here. Please take a moment to inspect your pool light. If there is a dark shadow in the bottom of the light, it has water in it and can electrocute your swimmers if used. The light pictured is 3/4 full of water.

Also locate your ground fault interrupter. It is usually the circuit breaker in the pool box that has a test button on it. Test your pool light and ground fault interrupter by turning on the pool light, verify it is on, depress the test button, verify the light went out. Reset the breaker the light stays on. This indicates a good light and good ground fault interrupter. If the light does not go off and on, have your light inspected by a professional pool service company or a licensed electrician.

Fridays Job was installation of a Pentair Intelliflo multispeed pump. The customers will enjoy a whisper quiet operation, powerful spa jets and $80 per month in power savings compared to their old pump. Also installed is a Pentair Clean and Clear cartridge filter and 2ea 3 port control valves.
