"Organization expert, handy(wo)man, project manager and therapist” might be one of my favorite descriptions yet.

Because the truth is, organizing is never just about the stuff. It is about understanding how a space needs to function for real people, real routines, and very real family chaos. For this garage, the goal was not just to make it look better. It needed to work for a family of five, with different needs, different habits, and different ways of thinking. A good system has to make sense to everyone using it, not just the person who created it. Otherwise, it is only organized for about twelve minutes. This transformation gave this client and her family more than a clearer garage. It gave them a space they could actually use, enjoy, and maintain without feeling overwhelmed every time they stepped inside. That is the real magic moment.

Organizing is not one-size-fits-all, because brains are not one-size-fits-all either.

For this laundry room, the goal was to create a space that worked with the client’s ADHD, not against it. Everything is off the floor, easy to see, and set up in clear stations so the room makes sense the second you walk in.

Our favorite part was hearing this from the client: “This is the 3rd version of that room and it brings me so much joy to have a space that meets my needs. It feels so tailored to my ADHD and my family. I keep going in and just smiling.”

That is exactly what thoughtful organizing should do: support the way you think, move, and live. ✨
