My name is Myra G Carrillo and I have been a school-based bilingual speech and language pathologist (SLP) since 2006. I have worked with students from ages prek-8th grade in both English and Spanish. In addition, I have a private practice out in the field and in this setting; I have worked with clients from ages 0-3 years of age. Prior to obtaining my speech and language degree, I taught a self-co
ntained bilingual first, second, and third grade for 15 years. I have also served as a Title I Reading Teacher as well as a Bilingual Resource Teacher. I have a clear multiple-subject teaching credential, a BCLAD (bilingual cross-cultural language academic development) certificate, an MS (Master’s of Science) degree, my CCC’s (certificate of clinical competence), and my state license to practice in the state of California.
