Believe it or not, your email list is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it becomes (and the better chance it has of landing in inboxes vs spam).
But it’s not enough to just send your email…

These metrics are a sign of the health and strength of your email list aka will determine how much you can expect to raise via email 💰
True example: I was working with a nonprofit who was getting great open rates (40% and higher), but the clicks were always low.
Turns out their email list was made up of a majority of past students and community members who loved being in the know, but who were not going to donate financially.
Together, we had to do some deep segmentation followed by list building to get the email list where it would function as a marketing tool that converted into donations 👍
