For more than 60 years, my family has followed the trail of the lost Aztec emperor and the treasure the Spanish never found. My grandfather started this search in the 1960s. This book opens the family vault.

Inside, I make the case that Montezuma's "lost" treasure was never lost at all. The official story of his death doesn't hold up. There's no burial, no monument, no grave for one of the most revered rulers in the ancient world. What if that silence is the biggest clue of all?
