This is how I was taught to set posts as a framer, and also a ranch hand. I dont remember the last time I ran a two man ogger.... but if I never do it again im ok with that.

Its been one to remember. .... when home owners wall in their property with absolutely no drainage system causing the crawl space under the home to fill with 4" of water shifting the house off its foundation and causing a massive amount of mold! Half way there..... starting a documentary called "when home owners attack" the do's, donts....and what were you thinking?
