Wyatt & Associates Protection Division, a division of Wyatt & Associates, Inc., was founded in 2014 to provide a superior level of security services to the growing national market. We have all either said or heard that infamous saying, “Where are the cops when you need them?” The fact is that police departments are forced into a reactionary state of operation because they operate with too few offi
cers and too small a budget. The departments that do have larger budgets are usually in larger cities that have more violent crimes. These circumstances often result in longer and longer response times. Exposing citizens and business to greater risk since police are often too busy chasing criminals that have already committed a crime and are unable to focus on prevention of crimes. That is where security comes in, mitigating that risk thereby increasing opportunities for crime prevention. In this role W.A.P.D. excels. We believe that security should be handled by those with the highest level of experience, training, and professionalism who already serve in a public safety capacity; the men and women of law enforcement. So that is who we hire. Who better than law enforcement officers to provide security services to both public and private entities. They are already intimately familiar with the law, undergo extensive public safety training to become officers, and receive ongoing training throughout their careers. As an added benefit to the officers, both retired and active, they can continue to work in the public safety field that they love using the skill sets their training and experience developed. What makes W.A.P.D. different:
* W.A.P.D. listens carefully to client concerns and identifies their needs, thereby allowing us to create customized security deployments that satisfy the client’s objectives. The better we know our clients requirements the easier it is to create a truly effective security plan.
* W.A.P.D. security deployments take into account current industry regulations and potential liabilities pertaining to our clients security requests. It does little good to mitigate one liability only to expose the client to another.
* W.A.P.D. maintains training standards beyond the state minimums while also ensuring all personnel maintain appropriate industry certifications. Security officers are completely ineffective if they do not possess an appropriate level of training, a level the state minimums fall woefully short of.
* W.A.P.D. takes a proactive approach to maintaining the quality of service we provide our clients. All clients are encouraged to provide us with a feedback at the conclusion of service. This feedback is provided to and reviewed by our CEO and Board of Directors so adjustments to overall company policy and procedures can be made where appropriate.
* We love what we do!
