We were headed for the Cabrillo lighthouse in Pt. Loma but it's closed today in honor of Memorial Day. So glad we didn't know that bc instead we stopped to see the thousands and thousands of veterans' gravestones at Ft. Rosecrans National cemetery. This truly puts Memorial Day into perspective.

"May peace be to all the children..."

Please say hello to Kids for Peace Service in Rwanda, located in Kigali, Rwanda. Here are some of the many children who are members of this country's first KfP Chapter, which launched in late 2015. One of their recent events involved peace games, peace songs, learning about protecting animals, and a peace walk. During the walk, the children displayed signs of love and peace and sang "Amahoro abe kubana bose" which means "may peace be to all the children."
