We recently had the opportunity to utilize a house scheduled for city demolition as a live training environment. A realistic barricaded person scenario was set up and we worked through it with our younger SWAT officers, focusing on decision making, movement, communication, and problem solving under pressure.

This is the kind of experience based knowledge that Point of Entry Consulting, LLC brings to producers and writers. Real world experience and real tactics bring real authenticity to the screen helping elevate performances, dialogue, and operational realism without getting in the way of the story.

With all the division and hatred in the world and in this country today, across party lines, across beliefs, we’ve gotten to a place where people are hated simply for not thinking or believing exactly the same way.

Mandisa’s song Bleed the Same hits that reality head-on. It’s a reminder that despite our differences, our humanity is shared.

It’s okay to have different viewpoints and different beliefs. In fact, it’s healthy. Opposing perspectives can help us grow in understanding if we’re willing to listen.

We have far more in common than what divides us.
