After producing some pretty yucky wine from the pre-packaged juice, Dave got the bug to craft wine in our basement in Connecticut from grapes harvested in Napa. 2009 marked our first vintage of Cabernet. Made in glass carboys, we handcrafted that wine and produced a couple of cases to share with friends and family. Because we wanted to up our reps, in May 0f 2009 we tried some chilean grapes and
a passion was born. Every year since then, we have refined our technique and honed our craft in our basement to the benefit of friends and family. In August of 2016 we made our dream a reality when we purchased our vineyard in the southern most part of Monterey County, San Miguel, Ca. Today we make our wine from hand selected, hand harvested grapes from our vineyard. We are Dave and Shawn Kahal and we look forward to sharing our first vintage with you in 2019!
