When you chose home birth, your family can be involved as much or as little as you’d like.

We love having the little ones near to watch and ask questions and can involve them in several different ways.

Did you have your family involved? Let us know below ⬇️

Did you know we offer placenta encapsulation to anyone? You don’t have to be client to benefit from this.

We come to your birth location and pick up your placenta shortly after you have your baby and we handle it all.

Placenta encapsulation can be such a supportive tool for your healing postpartum. ✨

Trace minerals + proper hydration are incredibly important during pregnancy because hydration is about so much more than just drinking water.

Your body needs minerals to actually absorb and utilize the water you’re drinking. 💦 Without enough minerals and electrolytes, water can move right through you instead of truly hydrating your cells.

Pregnancy is extremely demanding on the body, and minerals are a necessary way to support it.

When it comes to preparing for an unmedicated birth we like to think of it like our birth “tool box”. We have tools we can utilize when the time comes for support during labor.

That can look like:
Water (birth tub, shower, etc)
Birth combs
Heating pad
Positional changes
Hip squeezes
Homeopathy
Essential oils
Tens unit
Birth ball
Etc.

Most of our preparation for child birth is the mental prep, but there are physical things we can have ready to go when it starts to feel challenging.

What was your favorite thing to grab during labor that felt most helpful?

Armica is such a simple yet powerful tool to help aid in postpartum recovery.

This remedy has several forms but one of my favorite is homeopathy!

The postpartum period asks so much of our bodies, and this is a great way to support it. Grab a bottle from sprouts to keep on your nightstand postpartum to help with healing after birth. 🙌🏼

This is called cluster feeding.

In the early weeks, babies often want to eat, then eat again 20–45 minutes later. It can feel nonstop, but it serves a few important purposes:

• Supports growth spurts (common around 2–3 days, 1–2 weeks, and 3–6 weeks)
• Helps build milk supply if you’re breastfeeding.
• Provides comfort and regulation, feeding isn’t just about hunger.

Our babies are wired for closeness and comfort, and you are the main source of both ✨

Every baby is different, if you ever feel unsure about feeding, supply, or growth, reach out to your provider or a lactation consultant for support.

When you think of Lemon Balm, this is the herb to help “take the edge off”.

Lemon balm can offer some gentle, supportive benefits, especially in pregnancy when you’re wanting a safe and holistic option.

We love this herb for anxiety + sleep, it has incredible calming properties!

It can also serve as digestive support 🙌🏼

Make a cup of lemon balm tea or take a few droppers from a tincture and enjoy the benefits it offers.
