The tractors were rolling bright and early this morning. 🚜 Our 2nd day of Harvest is underway!

What some people may not realize is that grape harvest really is a SEASON on our farm.

We grow nine different varietals, or types of grapes, and they aren’t all ready (necessarily) at the same time.

Some years harvest starts in August and runs until late October. Other years we’ve had all nine types of grapes off the vine in a matter of two weeks in mid September.

This year we’ve harvested Pinot Noir already and today it’s Pinot Gris’ turn!

Carvers, creators, and fall fanatics… it’s your moment! Announcing the FIRST EVER Pumpkin Carving Contest at Long Cliff Winery!

This is no TRICK! Bring us your FINISHED, carved pumpkin Friday 10/9 through Sunday 10/11 and we’ll TREAT you to a complimentary Carver’s Flight (3 tastes of wine of your choice) in the tasting room while you admire your masterpiece one last time.

Pumpkins can be sourced from anywhere (although we’re partial to the pumpkins from our own Farm Stand – coming this Fall, of course!) and all finished entries must be completed prior to submitting. Carvers may submit as individuals, or as a team, but all entrants must be 21+, and only one prize will be given per entry.

On Monday, 10/12, all pumpkins will be photographed and posted online for community voting.
Voting will stay open through Sunday, 10/18, and the pumpkin with the most reactions will win our Grand Prize:

Two tickets to Nouveau Night 2026 + any bottle you love (a $95 value)
(If we hit 10+ entries, we’ll crown a runner‑up with a bottle of their choice too.)
