The Big Reveal

We've been hard at work on an exciting project with Garmin and Aviation 101, upgrading not just the Aviation 101 Sling TSi (N101AV), but our own Sling TSi (N915MW) as well.

In just four days, both aircraft had their instrument panels and center harnesses completely removed and replaced to accommodate dual Garmin GDU 116NC fully integrated flight displays.

This project highlights the true advantage of our modular panel systems. What would normally be a lengthy, complex installation was completed in just days, demonstrating how our approach makes even the most ambitious avionics upgrades faster, cleaner, and more efficient.

AXIS RNAV 27 Approach @ Flint Airport KFNT
We've already put the new Garmin AXIS system through its paces, including flying several instrument approaches to evaluate its capabilities in real-world conditions.

Over the coming days, we'll be releasing a series of videos demonstrating the system in action during three different approaches: an RNAV, an ILS, and a VOR approach.

We begin with the RNAV Runway 27 approach into Flint Bishop International Airport (KFNT), where you'll see how the AXIS system simplifies flight management and approach ex*****on from start to finish.
