We are saddened to learn about the recent passing of Maine Game Warden Pilot Joshua Tibbetts, who tragically lost his life in a plane crash in Avon, Maine.

Josh dedicated 18 years of service to the people of Maine through the Maine Warden Service, including the last three years serving as a pilot supporting search and rescue missions, law enforcement operations, conservation efforts, and public safety across the state. His commitment to protecting others and serving Maine will never be forgotten.

This tragic loss is being felt throughout the entire public safety community. From all of us at MJS Security Services, we extend our deepest condolences to Josh’s family, friends, fellow Game Wardens, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

Rest easy, Warden Tibbetts. Thank you for your service.
