The next 180 Day Weight Management Program will kick off on Monday, January 11th, 2016 in Sanger, TX! Program includes: healthy cooking classes, grocery store 101, weekly educational seminars, workouts, and more! If your motivated and ready to change...tired of not feeling good, being overweight, and sick! Candidates will be pre-screened and must qualify to participate. Program participation pre-requisites include (but not limited to) that candidates must be at least 50lbs or more overweight and diagnosed with an obesity related / inflammatory disease related to weight issues/stress (examples may include- polycystic ovarian syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, diabetes, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, etc..) If you qualify, or know someone who does, please email [email protected] or call 618.713.2613 for additional program info and pricing. Space is limited to 20 participants. Classes will meet on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

"My story begins similar to many. Over the years, I had let myself go. Things like work and children tend to get in the way of taking care of yourself. Before you know it, years have passed and you really don't recognize yourself anymore. I was overweight (the doctor calls it morbidly obese), I had knee and back issues, headaches, high cholesterol and sleep issues. I couldn't keep up with my kids anymore. I finally made the decision that I had to make a change. I had heard about Rebecca and all the good things that she was doing with other people in town. I decided to give it one last try before looking into surgery. Over the years, I had tried different diets and medicine. I was able to lose weight, but I never kept it off and usually gained more back. Rebecca taught me how to eat and exercise properly. It wasn't a diet, it was a lifestyle change. I have lost 60 lbs and countless inches. I feel SO much better and have more energy. My exercise began with walking a mile. I now run several 5K races a year and recently completed my first half marathon. I have been on this journey now for about 15 months and still use the lessons daily that I learned from Rebecca. Eat your protein.. But not too much:)!  The recommended daily intake of protein is .9 to 1.8 grams (heavy training day)....

Eat your protein.. But not too much:)! The recommended daily intake of protein is .9 to 1.8 grams (heavy training day). per kilogram of your body weight. Convert your weight in lbs. to kilograms (divide by 2.2) then multiply by .9. Over consuming protein can be harmful to the kidneys & liver. And remember, carbohydrates are the energy utilized to properly synthesize protein. Eat your carbs too :)!
