Another day in the field, another fire pump tested and ready to perform. 🛠️

Each week, Fire Safety First technicians start this diesel fire pump and put it through a routine churn test, checking oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery charge, fuel levels, and overall performance.

Why does this matter?
A diesel fire pump can look perfectly fine while small issues, like a weak battery, low fuel, or mechanical problems, develop unnoticed. Regular testing helps catch potential issues early on and keeps the pump ready to perform when needed.

Rolling fire doors are a vital safety barrier, automatically closing to protect lives and property during a fire emergency. During annual inspections, our technicians verify the operability of the fire doors by conducting a thorough drop test.

Before testing visually inspect the door and check that the mechanisms are not painted, damaged, or covered.

✅ Drop-Testing
First Drop: The first drop verifies full door closure!
Second Drop: The second drops confirms the automatic closing device has been reset.

🔍 Check For Damage: Inspecting fusible links, releasing devices, and other movable parts is crucial to make sure nothing interferes with proper operation.
