Funny enough, I used to dream of becoming a teacher, but life took me down a different road. Now, I’m lucky to share my knowledge with those around me. The best part? Some notifications are never easy to receive.

Today, another client was declined for life insurance.

Not because they didn’t want to protect their family.
Not because they couldn’t afford it.
But because their health history no longer met the insurance company’s underwriting guidelines.

Moments like this always make me pause.

It’s also why I often encourage people to consider getting at least one life insurance policy while they’re still healthy and insurable.

Life insurance isn’t something you buy after you need it.
It’s something you put in place while you still have the opportunity.

Please don’t wait until your health changes.
By then, even if you want coverage, it may no longer be an option.

Wishing everyone good health—and hoping no one ever has to receive a letter like this. ❤️

Most people think saving for retirement is all about how much you save.

But this chart shows something even more important:
When you start.

If you have 40 years until retirement, you may only need to save around $50 a month (assuming a 6% annual return) to reach $100,000.

Wait until you have just 10 years left, and that number jumps to about $610 a month.

Time can be one of the most powerful assets in building wealth.

You don’t have to start with a large amount.
You just have to start.

What’s one financial goal you’ve been putting off? 👇

✨Let’s build your legacy together.

🔎Retirement Reality Check #009

Today, I helped a 65-year-old client turn nearly $100,000 in her 401(k) into $8,500 of annual income before taxes, beginning after one year and guaranteed for life under her contract. Peace of mind isn’t only about how much money you have—it’s also about knowing how long your income can last. If you have a 401(k) and want to understand your options, message me the word “INCOME.”

Guarantees are subject to the contract’s terms and the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. This example reflects one client’s specific circumstances; individual results and options will vary.

💡 What if one day you have Alzheimer’s disease?

Today, a simple conversation with my plumber became a powerful reminder.

His wife was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He now pays about $4,000 a month for in-home care and knows that one day memory care could cost even more.

It made me ask myself:

If one day I couldn’t take care of myself… who would take care of me?

In the U.S., about 1 in 9 people age 65+ is living with Alzheimer’s.

Preparing for retirement isn’t just about money. It’s about preparing for life’s unexpected moments.

💬 Have you ever thought about this?

💡Do You Know Your Social Security Number?

Do you know how much you’ll receive from Social Security when you retire?

It’s one of the first questions I ask every client.

And many people don’t know the answer.

Knowing your estimated Social Security benefit is one of the first steps toward building a confident retirement plan.

If you’d like help finding your estimate, comment “SOCIAL SECURITY” below or send me a message.

When I was a kid, freedom meant growing up.

When I started working, freedom meant choosing the career I loved and having control over my own time.

Today, freedom means something even deeper.

It means living authentically.
Loving who I love.
Having time for the people who matter most.
And having the financial freedom to make choices based on what truly matters—not just what my bank account allows.

I've learned that freedom isn't something that simply happens.

It's something we intentionally build, one decision at a time.

So today, as we celebrate Independence Day...

I'd love to ask you:

💬 What does freedom mean to you at this stage of your life?

Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

💡Will Social Security Be Enough?

Could you comfortably live on about $2,000 a month in retirement?

For many people, that’s approximately what Social Security provides.

Social Security is an important part of retirement—but it was never designed to be your entire retirement plan.

The real question isn’t whether you’ll receive Social Security.

The real question is:

What other sources of income will help support the lifestyle you’ve worked so hard to build?

Retirement isn’t just about saving money.

It’s about creating reliable income.

This is Retirement Reality Check #006.

Some of my favorite conversations happen outside a traditional office.

For my long-time clients and friends, I love welcoming them into my home office. It’s a relaxed space where we can catch up, share ideas, and talk about what matters most.

For new clients, though, I still prefer meeting at my professional office first. Building trust starts with getting to know each other in the right setting.

So I’m curious…

If you had the choice, where would you rather meet?

🏡 A cozy home office
🏢 A professional business office

Tell me why in the comments!

🔎The Silent Wealth Killer

Most people worry about stock market crashes.

But one of the biggest threats to retirement is something much quieter: inflation.

A retirement lifestyle that costs $5,000 a month today could cost more than $9,000 a month in 20 years if inflation averages 3%.

That's why retirement planning isn't just about growing your money.

It's about protecting your purchasing power.

How much do you think your monthly expenses will be 20 years from now?

👇 Let me know in the comments.

💡Can Your 401(k) Survive A Market Crash?

What if the biggest risk to your retirement isn’t running out of money…

It’s retiring at the wrong time?

A major market downturn during your first few years of retirement can have a bigger impact than many people realize.

Would your retirement plan survive a 30% market drop?
