Fundraising Friday Tip: Use Specific Numbers to Tell a Stronger Story💯

Instead of saying “we made a big impact,” say “47 students graduated from our program this year” or “93% of participants reported feeling more confident.” Specificity builds credibility and helps donors visualize exactly what their gift made possible. General statements inspire feelings. Specific numbers inspire action.

Don’t just say your program made an impact—show it with real numbers:

✅ 47 students graduated
✅ 93% increased confidence
✅ 120 meals delivered last week

Numbers give your story weight and make your donors feel like their gift counts.
