Swipe to hear a harvest update from Michelle!

On September 24, we harvested Grenache and Mourvèdre from Kaerskov Vineyard in Los Olivos for our 2026 Rubia. We started picking before dawn, while it was chilly and dark, to make sure the fruit arrived at the cellar in beautiful condition.

Early mornings in the vineyard are a hallmark of harvest. There’s something about the pre-dawn silence that gives you a chance to honor all the work that goes into growing a successful harvest. Nothing beats the sight of the clusters bejeweling the vines, waiting to be picked!

This is a disease that has deeply affected my family and others in our community. The BCRC of SB provides free programming and therapies to local women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
